Basic IRC commands to get you going...

To chat with people just type and hit enter.

start commands with / in IRC, i.e. /nick newnickname to change your nick etc.

to change your nick type /nick new_nick

to private message someone type /msg persons_nick

to have your nick perform an action type /me does_something i.e. /me jumps up and down = *your_nick jumps up and down

Don't flood the chat with tons of text repeatedly , it is bad netiquette and will most likely get you banned not only in our IRC room but in any IRC chat room on any network.

There are tons more commands for IRC not covered here, do a search on google for IRC commands for beginners if you would like.

*ALSO Please note our web based IRC does not have all the options normally available on IRC clients. For a full range of features connect to us via your favorite IRC client using the details above.

If you have trouble connecting be sure that you allowed the applet permission, you havent been banned from the undernet servers we are connecting through, and be sure and try again sometimes clients go down for a bit a return seconds later.

BOT Commands

Type !help for a list of commands the bot can respond to...

Type Destrobot, your text, if you would like to have a conversation with the bot. He can hold a conversation with you this way. He has an artificial intelligence module installed.

Type !stream , !users and !playing for various stream update features
