NEW-12:25:07--->Hola Amigos! Well, Merry Christmas or Hanukah or whatever you celebrate. Hope everyone is having good holidays. We're busy as usual and everything appears to be working. We replaced a NIC on the playlist last week (sorry about the downtime). Servers had some maintenance this weekend (again , sorry about more downtime). We just launched on nokia radio tuners so holler. We'll have some more news in the new year so keep it peeled. as always keep it gangsta and whatever. peace bitchballs.

NEW-9:3:07---> A couple weeks ago, we believe the problems with the stream had been fixed. We've been on a steady climb in listeners and, from what we can tell, the connection is solid. Additionally, the playlist has been updated with new material and there's a new article by Pam B featuring Black Swann. Enjoy!

NEW-1:14:07--->New maintenance and redevelopment continues. users with no posts or inactive accounts have been purged from our database. some new methodology to operations will be appearing over the next few months but for now, just remember to get involved if you want access to the site. all the previously mentioned projects are still being worked on/in the works. for anyone that cares Im finally moved and nearly organized in my new home. there;s quite a bit to do yet so were still a ways off from finishing alot of my aformentioned projects but were closer. alot of stuff going on here throughout the first of the year. -M

NEW-8:26:06--->arrrgh, yeah there is some major maintenenance going on with cogent right now, some knuckle fuck spliced the wrong fiber during some maintenance and so weve had intermittent bunk traces etc since yesterday. sorry for the inconvenience. itll get sussed out soon enough. heh, always something. -m

NEW-8:19:06--->yeah, there have been alot of network problems but numbers are back up again. we've had a handful of security related outages that you can chalk up to dumbfucks. time better spent my young friends... but anyways, some of the final scripting is now apparent in the current build and some of the previously mentioned server alterations are being completed as I type. Further the Virgin Mobile Destroyer stream as well as our independent GPRS/dial up stream will be available this month! as per usual the entire operation is a logistical nightmare full of snags so we appreciate your patience. I should also note some time in Nov/Dec main operations inc. the entire Destroyer Entertainment Group eschelon of sub-entities will be moved to Austin, TX... we foresee a transparent re-location, but yeah you know... we'll just see. keep it locked, we're always working hard.

NEW-7:26:06---> A couple things to address/update. Obviously numbers have not been what they were a few months ago. This is a problem affecting all shoutcast stations, not just destroyer. Listing servers @ aol/nullsoft have been acting funky for months and a solution could be months or days away, we'll keep you posted as things develop. Our provider has also been adding connectivity for a few weeks a process that has also contributed to dodgy streams but has now improved our reach/stability across the planet. Further the site is about 97% complete with the exception of some minor fixes and completion of the artist area (still testing some scripts, its close). Also we are adding a dial-up/pda/phone stream, a server-side backup mix for when the dj is fucking up or the playlist is down, and a stream transcoder (nerd shit) which will stabilize the stream even more. All this stuff should be completed no later than Sunday, July 30th. Big ups to everyone that came out to the U.S. Jungle 002 release party, It was a blast. Keep it locked on Destroyer!

NEW-7:13:06---> iight so were getting closer with finalizing the site. weve been completely overloaded so appreciate everyones patience. playlist has been updated for the first time in almost 6 weeks. yeah we've been BUSY!@#@!@!# not just 'busy'. keep it locked.

NEW-7:09:06---> The forum shell has been extracted and is currently semi functional with the exception of some display problems in safari. we expect a fully functioning non beta portal no later than the 19th of this month ( which marks the first actual live show on the stream... birthday? not really but sorta). much thanks to the many people that have helped test the new site and offered suggestions and bug reports. official news sooner than later.

7:06:06---> We've reconfigured the main shell to work better for smaller monitors at no less than 1024x768 screen resolution. Keep checking back, we'll be making more improvements over the weekend.

7:05:06---> The site is currently best viewed at 1280 x 960, were working on improving the display for lower resolutions.

7:04:06---> Destroyer.net Radio v 2.0 is in public beta, please let us know what isnt working, is broken etc etc. please include detailed specs like browser type, version, os etc. We hope to have all the new features and bugs fixed within the week. woot. sidenote: were still using a temporary playlist. power supply in playlist server is dead.

6:13:06---> Shoutcast clustering/ listing problem has been solved (well sorta) We forward some ports around and everything is *sort of stabilized and back to normal. no rest for the hearts of evil men.

5:31:06---> nothing to report, some shows been having connection problems unfortunately. on a positive note we have several new studio mixes and tracks in the playlist. new site is still being worked on. blah blah. buy a shirt.

5:20:06--->several days offline but were back ... some more info on what happened. Our datacenter was the victim of a DDOS attack on monday. During the attack many IPs got unbound and then on wednesday, our IP block was accidently re-leased to another party. this caused our nameservers to fail, resulting in the complete disappearance of all domains under destroyer's servers. we apologize for the inconvenience. we're glad to be back so keep locked on destroyer.

5:15:06--->We are currently experiencing technical difficulties at one of our datacenters. Please watch this spot for an update. Server has been lagged and dropping packets all day.

3:25:06--->We've been getting some reports of dropping connections or impossible traceroutes to Destroyer? We are not experiencing this from main operation points so please contact us with your location. If capable please provide us PING and or TRACEROUTE data from your location to destroyer. We want to make Destroyer the best and it seems the past 3-4 months have been nothing but problematic. I am uber sick of constantly being on the move on this stuff and really want to get it stabilized. any help our supporters can provide is certainly appreciated. word to the motherfucker.

We never stop having problems, its true... lol. as of the moment since an unknown time this morning our relay provider appears to have dropped off the face of the planet. sorta crazy the luck destroyer has been having these days, actually reflected in quite an unpleasant fashion in mine and P's personal lives too, eh but we know how to roll with the punches. As always, we wont give up... were doing what we can to get the other 100 streams back, worse case scenerio we'll just get another server or something.

We hope this is the last major migration for quite some time. As the server is now controlled by us. Were fairly confident that we wont be moving again for quite some time. all I can say is damn, when youve moved a site so many times and more specifically restored a gigantic phpbb database again and again, it kinda makes you wanna drink some windex or something. sheesh.

9:15:05---> OK. Fuck. Since we moved from the badly DDOS'd server to a new one, we got nailed with another unlucky problem. Here is the official statement from the datacenter...During the last few days (We all know this has actually been 2 weeks. lol.) we are working with our Texas network core providers on upgrades of our network fibers . During this days streaming clients may receive buffering issues from time to time.There may be other small interruptions during this time as we test the new switches and ensure that traffic is flowing correctly through them. By moving to these new switches we will be able to offer greater redundancy, and in the case of a failure, much quicker times to restore service. I am told this will be fixed by Monday September 19th. We sincerely apologize to all the users and listeners for this run of bad luck. Hopefully these buffering issues will FINALLY be a thing of the past. Keep it locked on Destroyer.net Radio, We still have a bunch of exciting new things coming soon.

>8:08:05---> As many of you know since our relay has moved data centers we've had nothing but fucking problems, our provider is doing whatever he can to avert this situation however the network has been getting ddos'd routinely during peak broadcast hours. We are currently working towards a solution and apologize for the total lack of quality on the stream. We will hopefully be moved to a better place by next week. poop.

6:30:05--->Our relay is currently fucked. Our other 100 streams will be returning shortly all apologies for those that kept buffering throughout wednesday night and thursday. 1:10:05---> Boom. What a week, we've been getting the name out there and listing with alot of new places. upped the server cap to 150, hit a max of 130 so far! Good things for everyone here. Now we just need about 100 more new tunes and mixes. Working on new site. Donations page is almost up. New shirts and other products coming next month hopefully.

4:29:04---> Added another show on Wednesday nights 9-11 PM EST from Houston, Texas - SoulfulDischarge featuring SOL.ID & lost prophet. Started limited basis advertising program on the site and prepare site for re-launch in June with new features, a small amount of music/art related advertising (hopefully we can make some trades). Forum has doubled in size since the last update (234 registered users) and playlist has had a ton of new submissions (couple gigs). More new shows from around the globe coming soon too.
